Oh yes, how i agree with that.
What annoys me is the way people eat on the television shows. Corrie is dreadful for this. In every scene someone is eating and talking at the same time. One woman always has a glass of wine in her hand no matter what she`s doing and keeps taking sips of it in between every sentence. Most annoying. What with all the slurping noises and open mouthed chewing its hard to understand the dialogue at times. And why do all the actors on screen have make a big slurping sound whenever they kiss someone? No-one does this in real life. Thank god for the Mute button on the remote control is what i say.

I don't think you were born grumpy - I know what you mean. How revolting is it when somebody chews chewing gum loudly and makes a noise like a cow enjoying a wine gum!! Vile!!

I cannot stand people who sit in the seat behind me at the cinema and chomp on crisps and popcorn all through the film. I do not ever go to the cinema now but in the past i can remember moving to another seat at least 6 times throughout the film to get away from noisy chompers. Since growing into a grump I find that i take umbridge at anyone who talks to me whilst chewing on a lump of gum. Very rude I think. From grumpy old jojo.

added to the horror of noisy eaters are those who inflict their children's disgusting eating habits and manners on other restaurant patrons. The sight of junior scrabbling around with his fingers, playing with his food, chomping with his mouth full and then spitting out whatever bits of food he doesn't want makes me feel ill. And what's worse are the inane fond looks of his parents who think he's wonderful. GrrrrrrrrYUK!!

When I go into a cafe/resturant/bar I like to eat my food in peace. I do hate generally noisy people who yell at each across the table. Of course when one lot start doing it so does everybody else so they can be heard.
Only recently, Mrs Grump and I sat down for a meal and decided it was too noisy to eat/concentrate and moved to another part of the bar.

I can't stand people who eat, making lots of noises, chomping slurpy and you can watch the food go round and round like a washing machine. What happened to their manners. Also people who talk while they eat, these cooking programmes seem to encourage it and it's gone through me since I was a girl, so I must have been BORN grumpy
